Candidate must:
- Work on a team developing detailed designs for urban and rural roadway projects
- Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans, and construction estimates
- Assist with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications, and calculations
- Perform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field
- EIT or ability to obtain within 12 months. Candidates hired without their EIT will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
- Ability to develop designs using MicroStation, AutoCAD, GEOPAK, and OpenRoads Designer (ORD)
- Familiarity and demonstrated experience with highways and roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer (preferred)
- MS Office experience
- Preference is given to local candidates
- Positive attitude and commitment to being an advocate of the Holt Team
